E!: How is Shemar Moore doing since his accident?
P.B.: Shemar’s doing really well! He’s got an interesting storyline coming up that I don’t think we can talk about, but it’s very interesting.
K.V.: You’ll see a lot of him.
P.B.: That sounds like he’s going to be naked. We should say it that way all the time.
K.V.: I know! That’s why I said it like that!
E!: Has he been hobbling around in a cast?
P.B.: He’s not in a cast. He had a flexible cast, like a compression sock, and then a lot of his stunts for a couple of episodes were done by his stand-in, Donnell. They shot those scenes from behind. Donnell worked really hard.
E!: So we’ll get the same amount of Derek Morgan action we’re used to?
P.B.: Yeah, but you’ll notice that Shemar will run into a scene and then turn his back to the camera—the real fans, they’ll know the difference.
